The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05) is responsible for the full lifecycle engineering of the Navy’s ships, submarines, and warfare systems. To maintain fleet readiness and modernization, SEA 05 must ensure seamless integration and interoperability of complex C5I systems across platforms. This requires rigorous engineering oversight, technical validation, and risk mitigation to support mission-critical operations.
VTG has supported SEA 05 for over two decades, delivering expert engineering and programmatic support for the Navy’s C5I modernization efforts.
VTG’s support has directly contributed to reducing risk and enhancing the operational readiness of deploying ships and strike groups. By ensuring validated, interoperable systems are introduced into the Fleet, VTG helps maintain combat effectiveness and situational awareness for sailors. The long-standing partnership with SEA 05 reflects VTG’s commitment to technical excellence and mission assurance. As a result, Navy commanders are equipped with reliable, modernized systems that support strategic decision-making and execution.
