VTG’s philanthropic engagements focus on “giving back “ to service members and their families, supporting meaningful causes that have touched the lives of our diverse workforce, and improving the communities in which we live and work. We do this through outreach and giving programs, partnering with national and local organizations, and volunteerism.
For the last 25 years, we have supported the Fisher House Foundation, which provides comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. This commitment has yielded over $12M to construct Fisher Houses and fund scholarships over the last ten years.
Our employees give more than 1,500 hours of service annually to events and causes like the local USO Elf project, which provides gifts for military children during the holidays, and the annual DC Serv-a-thon. We have also contributed more than $1M to national and local organizations through financial and “in-kind” matching programs.
