Andy Zembower supports VTG as a Special Advisor. He is a former aerospace and defense industry executive who began his career as an electrical and systems engineer and progressed through project management, business development, general management, and executive leadership. Andy’s nearly five decades of experience in intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and cybersecurity markets equipped him with vast Industry experience.

Andy spent 30 years at General Dynamics where he held Vice President positions at General Dynamics Mission Systems leading $500M – $600M business units in the ISR and cybersecurity markets. Additionally, he has a wealth of corporate-level business development experience identifying, pursuing, and positioning to win hundreds of large new strategic contracts in various federal markets. Andy played key roles in multiple acquisitions and divestitures over the past 15 years. He also led the largest business integration (a $9B company involving 35,000 employees and a dozen major enterprise systems) in the history of General Dynamics when GDIT acquired CSRA.

Andy graduated from Youngstown State with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and from the University of Dayton with a Master’s degree in Engineering Management.
