John Hassoun

President & Chief Executive Officer

John Hassoun is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VTG. In this role, he leads a company of talented experts focused on expanding America’s competitive advantage in the national security space by providing our clients force modernization and digital transformation solutions.

Prior to joining VTG, John founded HMS, LLC, a management consulting firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, executive and leadership development, and cultural and systems integration.

Previously, John was the President of ASRC Federal’s Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) operating group. IS&T delivered mission-enabling cyber analytics, signal processing, cloud computing, big data management, and enterprise IT solutions to federal agencies in the defense, intelligence, and civilian agency markets.

John joined ASRC Federal through its acquisition of Vistronix in 2016, where as President and CEO, he built a technology solutions company focused on the intelligence community and next generation federal IT market.

John has over 30 years of executive experience in corporate strategy and business development, business operations, finance and program management.

After a successful career as a program manager and technical expert for the U.S. Air Force, John served in leadership roles at publicly-held General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and Veridian (NYSE: VNX), and served as co-CEO of ATS Corporation until its acquisition by SalientCRGT. John’s extensive executive leadership experience also includes CEO positions that he held with Global Integrated Security and Olive Group.

John currently serves as a board director of GardaWorld Federal Services and GardaWorld Government Services. Both companies are leading providers of worldwide comprehensive security and risk management services.

John is a member of the board of Inspired Practices in Early Education, a nonprofit organization that promotes the exchange of ideas and points of view regarding education for young children, envisioning a state, a region, and a world where all children experience exceptional childhoods.

John received his master’s degree in Human Factors and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wright State University.
